Welcome to WordLint. By accessing or using our website and services at wordlint.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.
1. What WordLint provides
WordLint is an AI-powered tool that generates letters, emails, and document templates based on information you provide. Our services include letter generators for real-life situations (refunds, complaints, resignations and more) as well as legal document templates (contracts, agreements, notices and more).
WordLint provides a technology platform — we are not a law firm, legal service provider, or licensed attorney. We do not provide legal advice.
2. Legal document disclaimer — important

Any legal document generated by WordLint — including but not limited to purchase agreements, NDAs, lease agreements, LLC operating agreements, power of attorney, prenuptial agreements, independent contractor agreements, eviction notices, and bills of sale — is provided for informational and reference purposes only.
- These documents do not constitute legal advice.
- They do not create an attorney-client relationship.
- Laws vary significantly by state, country, and jurisdiction.
- A document valid in one location may not be enforceable in another.
- Some documents (e.g. power of attorney) may require notarisation or witnesses.
You should always have any legal document reviewed and approved by a licensed attorney before using it in a real transaction, dispute, or legal proceeding. WordLint accepts no liability for any consequences arising from the use of AI-generated legal templates without professional legal review.
3. No warranty on letter content
Letters and emails generated by WordLint are AI-produced suggestions. While we aim for accuracy and professionalism, we make no guarantee that any generated letter will achieve a specific outcome — including refunds, dispute resolutions, or any other result. The effectiveness of any letter depends on many factors outside our control.
4. Your account
To access certain features you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use paid features.
5. Subscriptions and payments
WordLint offers a free tier with limited monthly generations and paid subscription plans (Starter and Pro). By subscribing you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly basis. You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. We do not offer refunds for partial months except where required by law.
Payments are processed by Stripe. WordLint does not store your full card details.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to use WordLint to:
- Generate fraudulent, harassing, defamatory, or illegal content
- Impersonate any person or entity
- Create documents intended to deceive or defraud any party
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to reverse-engineer or abuse our AI systems
- Resell or redistribute our generated content as your own service
7. Intellectual property
Content you generate using WordLint belongs to you. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs for the purpose of generating your requested output.
WordLint's platform, branding, code, and underlying systems are owned by WordLint. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any part of the platform without our written permission.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WordLint and its founders, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to loss of money, data, or business opportunities, or any legal consequences arising from the use of AI-generated letters or documents.
Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 30 days prior to the claim.
9. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold WordLint harmless from any claims, losses, or damages (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these terms, or any document you use that was generated by our platform without appropriate legal review.
10. Privacy
Your use of WordLint is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of WordLint after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of WordLint shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.
